Governor asks state colleges to adopt a railway station each, keep it clean

Aiming to transform railway stations under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, C Vidyasagar Rao, Maharashtra Governor and the Chancellor of universities has asked all universities and colleges in Maharashtra to adopt at least one railway station nearer to them. He asked to give one day in a month to the adopted railway station and clean it. He further said that railways must carry out research on rail transportation including passenger amenities, safety, speed, optimization of resources etc. and should come out with innovative solutions.
